Privacy

This site uses no cookies, does not measure traffic and loads no third-party resources. It is delivered through the Cloudflare network, which sees the technical data of each request.

What data is processed

  • Cookies and traffic analytics: none. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics tools, external fonts, maps or scripts.
  • Display preferences: your theme choice (light or dark, key vs-theme) and whether the animated background is on or off (key vs-fx) are kept only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not sent to the server. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
  • The demos: run locally, in your browser. Generated data and values you enter are not sent to the server.
  • The video recordings: the links to recordings on the Training materials page open youtube.com, a third-party site with its own privacy terms; nothing from YouTube loads on vsoft-design.com before you click.
  • Web server logs: for each request, the server records the IP address, the date and time and the resource requested. Logs are kept for at most 14 days for security, then deleted. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in protecting the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Emails: messages sent to office@vsoft-design.com are used only to reply to you and are kept as long as the correspondence requires.

Data is not sold and not used for advertising.

Delivery of the site through Cloudflare

The site is delivered and protected through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as a processor. To deliver the pages and filter abusive traffic, Cloudflare processes the IP address and the technical data of the request (for example the resource requested, the date and time and the browser type). Your browser may also send Cloudflare reports about network errors that occur while pages load. The legal basis is the same legitimate interest in delivering and protecting the site.

Cloudflare may process this data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards provided by Cloudflare (standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).

Your rights

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. To exercise them, write to office@vsoft-design.com.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro.
