Company history

Events in the work of Virtual Soft. The owner's personal career is described separately, below.

  1. 2006Virtual Soft S.R.L. is entered in the Trade Register on 5 June 2006 (J2006000901248), working in software development, IT consulting and training.
  2. 2024Virtual Soft develops the first AI-based applications for LOFTREK S.R.L., a company run and co-owned by Virtual Soft's owner — automation of product catalogues, technical documentation and quotations.
  3. 2024–2025Virtual Soft develops QuickGuee, the dossier-management application for the one-stop energy-efficiency office of a Romanian county council.
  4. 2025Virtual Soft develops the property title request application for the Maramureș County Prefecture (land restitution), with two-reviewer evaluation, electronically signed reports and submission to OCPI. The final version was installed at the client. The application is not in current use.
  5. 2026Virtual Soft develops web applications for design, quotation, technical documentation and data dashboards. Among them, on the domains of LOFTREK S.R.L., are the browser-based playground layout designer, the loftrek.ro/docs technical library with more than 300 guides, and the wildfire operations dashboard. The same year it builds the digital laboratories on synthetic data shown on this site.

The projects shown on this site are carried out by Virtual Soft through its owner, Olos Liviu Virgil. Continuity for the client is ensured by the source code and documentation handed over with every delivery.

  • Graduate engineer, Automation and Computers, Politehnica University of Timișoara (2009); college engineer in computer systems science, North University of Baia Mare (2004).
  • More than 25 years in IT, project management and AI consulting; more than 72 AI implementations in organisations, carried out in his personal consulting practice (liviu.ai).
  • Selected for the first global hackathon run by Anthropic (500 participants accepted out of 13,000 applicants); 2nd place at Ho-Ho-Hack 2025, Cluj-Napoca.
  • Runs and co-owns LOFTREK S.R.L., an integrator of equipment for public spaces, with projects for public authorities and institutions in Romania (loftrek.ro).

Personal career

  1. 1997Produces the first Windows tutorial CD in Romanian, which sold 3,000 copies — his first educational product.
  2. 2006Becomes a trainer of trainers in the UNCTAD Empretec programme.
  3. 2007Becomes an ECDL certified trainer, for basic digital skills.
  4. 2024–2025His training sessions and talks on AI adoption reach more than 500 participants.

The results of his personal consulting practice (liviu.ai) and the commercial results of LOFTREK S.R.L. belong to him and to LOFTREK respectively, and are not presented as Virtual Soft references.
